CES 2016: What DIRECTV expected to give users in 2016? CEO Randall Stephenson, AT&T has recently hinted at a financial conference that DIRECTV will start a national streaming service soon. But Stephenson, whose company is now run DIRECTV after merging with AT&T last summer was discreet about the details other than the company data published in early 2016.
While DIRECTV and AT&T do not have an official press conference at CES is the event that will provide the launch of DirecTV streaming service.
Stephenson said the new streaming service, which is certainly an interesting proposal that indicated recent innovations have made most observers bit outdated industry will have a few heads turn. The assumption here is that AT&T is the online version of DIRECTV that does not require a dish, which may not seem like a lot to some online fans disclosed, but it would be very important in the satellite industry. DIRECTV will always require a satellite dish antenna.
What could AT&T and DIRECTV do at CES?
It is likely that a major announcement about 4K TV service, probably reveals a new 24/7 4K channel or two on DIRECTV 4K TV service.
It would not be surprising, even if DIRECTV announces new partnerships with 4K TV manufacturers.
