Etisalat will soon launch first 4K IPTV service in UAE, Africa Middle East
Etisalat ready to launch the first 4K IPTV service in the Middle East. The service will be launched in the first quarter of 2016. The 4K IPTV service will be launched for Etisalat customers in the UAE as Etisalat has partnered with Huawei to launch the first 4K Ultra HD IPTV service for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) which will be available from the first quarter of 2016 in the United Arab Emirates exclusively for Etisalat eLife.
Etisalat ELIFE customers can now have access to the 4K linear channel and 4K Video On Demand service (VOD) by using the newEtisalat 4K set top box. By offering ultra-HD video from Etisalat and Huawei, viewers will experience 4K 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is about four times greater than Full HD. Experience top video quality with a 4K image quality without distortion or loss of quality on large screens. Able to see the 4K technology, the colors more vivid and varied, strong image and so users can even see full details that were not possible to see on Full HD, standard definition or HD standards.
