RealVU DTH New DTH Service For Bangladesh To Start in April
First satellite TV service to start in Bangladesh this April. Beximco Communications is ready to launch a direct to home TV (DTH) in April 2016 and this will be the first satellite TV service in Bangladesh.
The new DTH service of Bangladesh is RealVU and this will be the first satellite TV DTH service that will be available firstly in the cities and metro areas and will gradually expand its coverage throughout the country, according to the Daily Sun. "We are ready to provide RealVU DTH servicessoon under the brand that will change the experience dramatically by viewers of television in Bangladesh," said Dmitry Lapitsky, CEO, Beximco Communications. Update: BTV National, BTV World, Sangshad TV FTA on ABS on RealVU DTH. The DTH service costs about BDT300 (US $3.83) per month andwith providing subscribers more than 100 channels. This includes more than 26 local channels and a number of large international networks TV channels with five high definition channels. The price of the decoder DVR to receive the service is not disclosed yet. RealVU DTH service is a joint venture between Beximco and investment company and claims of Russian industry GS Group. It follows the licensing of DTH, the Government of Bangladesh in December 2013. Shopper Media Ltd also has a license to operate a satellite TV service at the same time. The operator may provide a 12-month of the service period, where customers are required to use their service to the guidelines of the Regulatory Commission SRD Bangladesh Telecommunications in 2015 September issued. In return, the DTH operators provide a service Center in each district headquarters. In addition, distributors and operators must provide two years of repair and maintenance of DVR and HD systems without any extra cost for the new direct to home TV DTH service in Bangladesh.
