Nepal DTH DishHome upgraded capacity on Amos 4 to add new channels

Nepal DTH Dish media Networks enhanced its capacity in the AMOS-4 satellite. Nepal Dish Media Network has completed a new long-term contract to add more capacity to its current capacity on AMOS 4 at the 65 East orbital position. AMOS-4 offers significant satellite capacity for DishHOME DTH providers to add more SD and HD channels and to broaden their service.

Founded in 2009, Network Media Pvt court. Ltd. is the only DTH operator the in Nepal. which makes it one of the most dynamic operators in Nepal and broadcasting and transmission services for digital television. DishHOME capacity on AMOS-4  is contracted till the life time of the satellite ends.

AMOS-4 has eight Ku-band transponders of 108 MHz and four high power Ka-band transponders of 216 MHz, each with steerable beams. The transponders both Ku and Ka create a powerful platform that enables a wide range of connectivity options to wide urban and rural areas of the region.

AMOS-4 provides large satellite services, DTH, and broadband coverage, including video distribution, VSAT communications and broadband Internet, satellite footprint coverage provides satellite Broadband internet, Broadcast, and needs of the markets in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
