Videocon D2H today announced a new partnership with top streaming media companies like Hungama play for its HD SmartConnect set-top box. Under this partnership, the DTH service providers will provide a variety of video on demand services and best streaming service for movies including Hollywood, Bollywood, Indian Movies, fun content for kids in collaboration with Hungama games. The service is available to consumers with multiple subscription options including a select free option too.

Previously, the company was also associated with Sony and d2h HD set-top box consoles now ships with SonyLIV application, through which users can view different genres, such as sports, entertainment, music, TV shows, among others. You can access SonyLIV with all Web Apps buttons in the smart set-top box of Videocon D2H HD. The brand also linked other tv streaming and media streaming services like Netflix's in March 2017 to integrate the Netflix App into its DTH services. The application will be installed in the set-top box and will have a special key to start the application and to stream TV via the app.
According to the company, SMART HD set-top box turns any existing TV into Smart TV as well as displaying 650 channels and services in High Definition and Standard Definition and the viewers can ejoy the features of tv streaming and other media streaming services. The DTH service allows you to watch your favorite channels in SD and HD, also the smart set-top box provides best streaming service for movies which include indian movies, Hollywood movies and allows you to search the online content via the applications in the STB.
