The new platform is scheduled to be launched on July 25 and will be distributed on the ABS-3A satellite in Africa, located 3 degrees West. The service will broadcast more than 100 television channels, and the number is expected to increase to 150 shortly thereafter.

The viewers will be able to see local and foreign video content and the best entertainment programs. The ABS-3A satellite is a new pillar for the high-profile broadcasting contribution in Africa, MENA, Europe and the Americas. Its broad beam of Ku-band Africa has expanded the possibilities of video distribution throughout the region. The orbital groove of the beam at 3 degrees West gives a benefit to Nigeria because of its high elevation angle and the clear line of sight across the country.
