Amazon FreeTime: Amazon kids Unlimited Service is Now available on iOS devices

Amazon free time for kids: Amazon FreeTime Unlimited service opens to iOS devices. After years of being exclusive to Amazon FreeTime tablet, the company's FreeTime Unlimited service is now available on iOS devices.

The service houses thousands of television programs, books and movies for children.

FreeTime was available for the first time for other Android devices last year, four years after the initial launch of the application.

The FreeTime app offers PBS Kids, Nickelodeon and Disney content, but the experience is slightly different on an Apple device than on an Amazon device. On a Kindle, for example, parents can adjust settings in a way that prevents children from leaving the application.

Apple does not allow third-party applications to control an entire device in that way, so parents should be a little more cautious if they share their iPad or other personal iOS devices with their children.

At launch, Amazon offers a 30-day trial version of FreeTime Unlimited for iOS users. If you decide you like it, the subscription costs $2.99 for Prime members or $9.99 for access on multiple devices for non-members.
