Licenses granted during the meeting included the Punjab Food Authority (two non-commercial FM radio stations) and the Beaconhouse National University (BNU). The Virtual University's application for renewal of non-commercial satellite TV licenses of VTV-I and II in the Specialty category was also approved. M / s Mediacon Network (Pvt.) Ltd, Karachi, has been authorized to operate two overseas TV channels abroad: English Club TV and Kidzone TV. In addition, the permission to grant the landing rights of the TOONANIr channel was lifted at the request of the applicant.

For M / s Ideation (Pvt.) Ltd. was also granted permission for a Mobile TV service license (provision of audio and video content). Islamabad and two licenses for Internet Protocol TV distribution services for M / s. TES Media (Pvt.) Ltd., Islamabad, for the telecommunications sectors Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad and M / s Neyatel (Pvt.) Ltd., for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Faisalabad Telecom.
