The remote control includes Google Assistant, so you can search using your voice.
You are not limited to using the set-top box, however; AT&T also works with the existing AT&T Now app, so you can stream content from AT&T TV to mobile devices and stream media devices like Roku. Up to three devices can broadcast AT&T TV simultaneously.

AT&T TV needs high-speed internet. AT&T recommends at least 8 Mbps speed for streaming, and because it supports up to three devices at a time, it recommends having at least 24 Mbps for good viewing.
Well-known online services programs should meet your needs, but there is a good chance that DSL will not - you can check your current internet speed using online tests easily.
AT&T TV now channels and costs
Like traditional cable TV, AT&T TV comes in a variety of packages. You can choose to pay monthly as a streaming service or key in the program with a two-year contract.
Note that there is an important catch designed for a two-year contract payment system: The first year is cheaper than the other monthly method, but the monthly payment goes up significantly on the day of the one-year anniversary - see below for full details. Apart from the registration fee, there are other differences. The monthly non-contract version of AT&T TV includes 20 hours of Cloud DVR recording, for example, with the option of increasing up to 500 hours for $10 per month. A two-year contract covers 500 hours.
Surprisingly, however, this no-contract version incorporates regional sport at no additional cost; a two-year contract adds $8.49 a month for regional games.

Entertainment: The base package contains 65 channels with 40,000 required shows to choose from and costs $69.99 per month. If you choose a two-year contract, it is $59.99 per month for one year and the price jumps to $93 per month for the second year.
Choice: This package has 90 channels, 45,000 required programs and includes a year of HBO Max. It's $84.99 a month. If you choose a two-year contract, the price is $66.79 for the first year and $111.80 per month thereafter.
Imoptimo Más: This package includes 50 Spanish-language channels and 40 English channels, as well as the annual HBO Max and 25,000, wanted titles. The tier is only available on a two-year contract worth $64.99 for the first year and $86 a month for the second year.
Xtra: Xtra tier offers 120 channels, 50,000 wanted titles, and an annual HBO Max. It includes more regional sports networks than its sub-levels and is only available on a two-year contract of $76.79 per month for twelve months, followed by $125.80 per month for the second year.
Lastly: The Ultimate tier has 130 channels, 55,000 wanted shows, and an annual HBO Max for $94.99 per month. The two-year plan is $81.79 per month for the first year and $ 136.80 per month for the second year.
Premier: Finally, the Prime package has 140 channels, 65,000 wanted shows, and an HBO Max year. It costs $139.99 per month. The two-year plan is $131.79 per month for the first year and $ 184.80 per month for the second year.
AT&T TV vs AT&T TV Now
You will be forgiven for confusing AT&T TV and other AT&T services. AT&T TV is different from AT&T TV Now, which is renamed DirecTV Now. AT&T owns the satellite TV service DirectTV, and AT&T TV is now a live TV service with about 125 channels (DirecTV system).
